jeremy renner, because there is no contest that ben affleck will lose everything he competes in, and I'm skeptical going into this movie, and hope it works out for him, but i have to go with jeremy renner

Jeremy would be better, he isn't as big of a pansy as Ben.

Jeremy Renner by far, after seeing Ben Affleck in Daredevil I don't think anyone can see him as bad ass. Also Jeremy Renner was a total bad ass is Hurt Locker

Jeremy I think is able to show more commitment as a badass — not that I don't love ben affleck – he's talented, it's just in past roles where he's been slightly bad or something, he always has a guilt thing and well is a bit more softhearted

I'm going to have to go with Ben Affleck for several reasons… First, he's from the Boston area and one would imagine that has to lend some credibility to his Boston tough guy acting. Second, his character is the brains of the outfit and true badassery requires both brains and braun. Third, he's directing his own character, of course he's going to make himself pretty badass. Fourth, and finally, he's so bad ass in this movie that he robs a bank, kidnaps a girl, and then gets her to fall in love with him. Bad ass indeed!

Jeremy Renner of course. Have you ever seen Ben Affleck cry? Enough said.
Monday, September 13, 2010 1:01PM
Renner because Affleck was whipped into starring in Gigli by his then gf, J-Lo.

Jeremy Renner without a doubt. He is playing Hawkeye in the upcoming Avengers movie and the closest role to being that bad ass was Daredevil. So, Hawkeye vs. Daredevil..I'll take Hawkeye (AKA Jeremy Renner) every time.

Jeremy Renner..hands down. Although I do have soft spot for Ben Affleck I think think he is more believable as a lover not a fighter. His previous roles that depict him as the antagonist in the beginning always ends up with him being the protagonist who has changes his ways for the better, which I believe may happen in this film as well. Jeremy on the other hand definately exudes a kind of confidence, sexiness, and mysteriousness that allows him to portray a bad boy (ass) flawlessly. Case in point his previous work in Dahmer, SWAT, North Country, and A little Trip to Heavan. You know what they say about women and bad boys. My love may be with Affleck but my lust is definately with Renner.

Jeremy Renner is the correct answer to this question. The first movie I saw with Renner as a major player was 28 Weeks Later, in which he is a complete bad-ass. Doing everything in his power to save our main characters from zombies and soldiers alike. Since then, Renner has not stopped his bad-assery, and it would appear the town continues this trend.

Jeremy renner because Bens past roles have yet to convince me that he is a bad-ass. But renner on the other hand is, and his future roles look promising for more bad-assness. Hawkeye anyone?
Monday, September 13, 2010 6:57PM
Jeremy Renner, watch him in S.W.A.T.
Monday, September 13, 2010 7:50PM
Ben A. because although he's done questionable films in the past, this one looks like it'll be a blast. It has the Dark Knight opening scene vibe to it.

Ben Affleck. The fact that he can shows his face after back to back stinkers from Gigli to Surviving Christmas takes a lot of courage.

Nobody does bad ass better than Jeremy Renner

Renner facing bombs in Hurt Locker. Affleck was in Daredevil a bomb. Nuff said?

Ben Affleck…he was Daredevil! that's badass. Also he won an Oscar for writing the screen play along with Matt Damon for Good Will Hunting.

Renner hands down.
