Are you ready for the new season of the CBS hit, “How I Met Your Mother?” The show is entering its sixth year and after shying away from the premise during season 5, it’s finally getting back to that search for the elusive mother. Could “House” alum Jennifer Morrison be the one that we’ve been hearing about all these years? According to EW, the actress has signed on for a guest stint that will have a huge effect on the show’s story.
Morrison will play Zooey, a new love interest for Ted and according to executive producer Craig Thomas, she’s not just a passing fling in the character’s life.
[She's] the biggest female character we’ve maybe ever added to the show in Ted’s life. This is a big arc—a huge arc. It’s going to be a little less date-of-the-week for Ted, which season 5 was.”
Zooey is a “rabble-rousing activist who’s hell-bent on saving the Arcadian, an old New York hotel that’s scheduled to be torn down to make way for the Goliath National Bank tower—which Ted just so happens to be designing.” Who didn’t see that coming? The duo’s relationship is described as “very complicated and interesting.” Hmmm.
What do you think of Morrison joining the HIMYM cast?
