Back in July, we were on hand at the 2010 San Diego Comic Convention when Matt Reeves and the cast of his latest film Let Me In were in attendance. They held a special panel and showed several clips from the film exclusively for the Hall H audience. A couple months later one of those clips have appeared online courtesy of Overture films. Take a look…

Let Me In centers on a 12 year old girl named Abby (Chloe Moretz), who moves next door to a bullied boy named Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee). Owen is a social outcast who is viciously attacked at school and in his loneliness, forms a profound bond with his new neighbor. He can’t help noticing that Abby isn’t like anyone he’s ever met before. As a string of grisly murders occupy their town, Owen has to confront the reality that this seemingly innocent girl is really a savage vampire.

This clip is just part of the footage that was shown at Comic-Con. Here you see Richard Jenkin’s character lurking in the backseat of a car ready to pounce at any moment, but what you don’t see the set up prior to this. He’s going to get blood for Moretz’ character. If she doesn’t drink, she doesn’t survive, therefore he must kill so she can live. Creepy stuff huh?

What do you think of the first clip from Let Me In?
