The stars have aligned and given us the one thing we’ve always wanted, a Bradley Cooper- Ryan Reynolds movie. Apparently Sandra Bullock’s two former leading men (All About Steve and The Proposal) have joined forces (without her) to kick ass and make us laugh along the way. According to THR, the actors have signed on to star in an untitled action comedy.
The trade reports that the film, “follows two friends, who are also San Francisco cops, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results.” The screenplay was written by Sheldon Turner who penned the Academy Award nominated Up in the Air. Sounds like a recipe for success!
The film is said to have “an updated Lethal Weapon flavor that plays into edgier R-rated territory.” We definitely see these two laughing it up, but who do you think could play their dads? There are so many older comedic actors who could pull this off. Not only will they have to be funny but they’ll have to be good looking because lets be realistic, Reynolds and Cooper are both easy on the eyes. Therefore, their dads will need to bring it!
Are you excited to see Cooper and Reynolds on the big screen together?
