Production on Paul W.S. Anderson’s upcoming film, The Three Musketeers is well underway in Bamberg, Germany. Over at Coming Soon, they were able to snag a few photos from the set that feature two of the main actors including Mads Mikkelsen and Logan Lerman. They’re in full costume, with bad wigs, and embezzled eye patches to match. Check them out…
The story of The Three Musketeers centers on D’Artagnan (Lerman), a young man who leaves home to become a member of the fighting force of the French king’s royal household. Along the way, he makes friends with three of the force’s best — and most disgraced — members: Athos, Porthos and Aramis, whose creed of friendship is “All for one and one for all!” The story was published in 1844 and written by Alexandre Dumas.
Why is it that in every Musketeers adaptation D’Artagnan always has the worst hair? I know it sounds vain but do you remember the wig they had on Chris O’Donnell when he played the character in the early nineties version?
The Three Musketeers is scheduled to hit theaters on April 15, 2011 and it will be in 3D.
