The Invention of Hugo Cabret is a highly praised novel written by Brian Selznick that centers on a 12 year old orphan boy (Asa Butterfield) who lives within the walls of a train station. It follows his daily journeys as he interacts with several suspicious characters including a bitter old man (Kingsley), a bookish girl (Chloe Moretz), and a local station inspector (Sacha Baron Cohen). Jude Law is also stars as Cabret’s father, while Emily Mortimer plays the station’s flower shop girl, Lisette, and Michael Stuhlbarg plays Rene Tabard, a film restorer.

Kingsley definitely looks the part of his character. Check out how tight his collar and tie are in this photo. A happy person wouldn’t restrict themselves in such a way. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the cast looks like, especially Cohen (inspector suit and all)!

What do you think of Kingsley’s look for the film? Are you excited to see the movie?
