This weekend the theater will be filled with everything from campy horror films to generic rom-coms to family friendly sequels. Jennifer Aniston will once again grace the big screen in a romantic comedy called The Switch opposite Jason Bateman. She’ll play a woman who gets artificially inseminated by her best friend – accidentally. There’s also the over the top parody Piranha 3D about a small sleepy town that experiences an influx of college kids during spring break around the same time millions of prehistoric piranhas decide to go on a killing spree.

There’s also Lottery Ticket starring Bow Wow and Brandon T Jackson. It centers on a young man who hits the jackpot with the local lottery but can’t cash in his ticket until the end of the weekend. He has to find away to keep his win a secret from everyone in his neighborhood because once they find out he’s rich, they’ll all want a piece.

Emma Thompson reprises her role as Nanny McPhee in Nanny McPhee Returns. Its a sequel to the 2005 family film that centers on a magical babysitter who has an unconventional way of dealing with unruly children. And for those of you who are sick and tired of the vampire trend, check out Vampires Suck. It’s a hilarious satire based on the Twilight films and anything else that has to do with emo-bloodsuckers.
