If you completely despised the addition of Shia Lebeouf and his character Mutt Williams to the Indiana Jones franchise, we’ve got some bad news. He’ll be back. We don’t know what’s worse, the fact that he’s returning or the fact that there will be another Indiana Jones movie. Harrison Ford keeps himself in pretty good shape so he might have one more adventure left in him and according to Labeouf George Lucas and Steven Spielberg already have a “crazy idea” for the next sequel.
According to Showbiz Spy, Labeouf has been in contact with Lucas and he says the screenplay is a work in process.
“They’re script writing right now… I got called into Steven’s office and he pitched a little bit to me and it sounds crazy, it sounds really cool.”
Did you read that correctly? It’s crazy and cool sounding to him, which means absolutely nothing because this is the same actor who starred in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. We can’t take his judgment seriously. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was hated by a lot of people and considered the straw that broke the camel’s back. Can the character and his legacy be redeemed with Mutt Williams in tow?
What direction do you think they’ll take Indiana Jones 5 in? Are you interested in another sequel?
