A lot of your favorite shows have started production for the new fall season, so we have a slew of TV castings to tell you about. They include additions to the CBS hit “The Mentalist,” along with NBC’s “Parenthood,” and Syfy’s “Warehouse 13.” According to EW, Eric Winter, Kevin Alejandro, and veteran actor Judd Hirsch have all signed on for roles on one of these shows. Find out who’s going where below…
First up we have Eric Winter, the “Brothers & Sisters” alum has signed on to play the love interest of Amanda Righetti on “The Mentalist.” His character’s name is Craig O’Laughlin, and “is described as a football player-turned-FBI guy who strikes up a flirtation” with Righetti’s Van Pelt.
Next we have Kevin Alejandro, who’s currently playing the boy-toy of Lafayette on HBO’s “True Blood.” He’s going to make the move over to the peacock network to fight for the affections of Lauren Graham’s Sarah on “Parenthood.” His character’s name is Mike, and “is described as a blue-collar type who works in the warehouse at Adam’s company—where Sarah is now employed as well.” He’ll be going up against Billy Baldwin, who’ll also have a thing for Sarah and is Adam’s boss. Dun! Dun! Dun! Dun!
Last but not least we have Judd Hirsch, who will take a walk on the wild side when he guest stars on “Warehouse 13.” He’ll play Artie’s estranged father in the network’s first-ever stand-alone holiday episode. Doesn’t that sound exciting?
