Skyline Trailer – Don’t Look Up…Seriously Don’t!
By Krystal ClarkIf there’s one film that came out of Comic-Con 2010 as the little engine that could it was Skyline. The sci-fi thriller from The Strause Brothers (Greg and Colin) was made on a shoestring budget with minimum locations, a few dedicated actors, and some grade A special effects. The first teaser trailer is now online and you can see for yourself what all that hype is about. Take a look…
In Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth. The film stars Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Brittany Daniel, David Zayas, and Scottie Thompson.
For this movie to have been made for relatively cheap it looks amazing. It’s glossy and polished and it even has Dan Rather. How the hell did they get Dan Rather?! The trailer isn’t that long but the ending shot that features hundreds of people being swept up into an alien space craft leaves a lasting impression.
If you want even more info regarding the plot and the filmmakers check out our Comic-Con coverage of the Skyline panel, which included a description of footage not shown here.
Skyline is scheduled to hit theaters on November 12th.

Impressive trailer. Especially considering this is a low budget production.
