During Comic-Con 2010 we got our first look at Skyline — the new sci-fi thriller from brothers Colin and Greg Strause, and although the movie isn’t based on a comic book, it had one of the best panels at the convention. The film is due out this November but a trailer has yet to be released so until then, the newly established teaser site will have to suffice…
In Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to engulf the entire human population. The film is directed by The Brothers Strause (the same guys who brought us Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem) and stars Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Scottie Thompson, and Brittany Daniel.
The official Skyline site isn’t much more than a gallery and a quick synopsis of the film. There’s also a movie banner set as the background, with some cool movement effects with people ascending towards the light. In one of the photos we see two men, one of whom appears to be Balfour. All you can really make out are their backs, nothing is really clear or concrete.
That’s our semi-analysis of the site, but you should check it out for yourself and draw your own conclusion.
What do you think of the Skyline site? Are you interested in the film?
