What do you think of butter? And no we’re not referring to the delicious yellow spread you put on various foods for an extra kick of flavor. There’s actually a comedy called Butter that stars Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Garner. Recently Entertainment Tonight went behind the scenes of the film to see what all the fuss is about and got up close and personal with the cast. Check out the video…

The film is set in the Midwest U.S., where an adopted girl (Yara Shahidi) discovers her talent for butter carving and finds herself pitted against an ambitious local woman (Garner) in their town’s annual contest. Besides Jackman and Garner the film stars Alicia Silverstone, Ty Burrell, Ashley Greene and Olivia Wilde.

Is it just us or is Olivia Wilde in EVERYTHING? When you’re hot you’re hot and she’s taking every job she can get. Can’t really blame her for wanting to keep a roof over her head and food in her belly. As for the rest of the gang, it’s good to see Silverstone on the big screen again. It’s hard to believe that 15 years ago she was considered the hottest, young thing in Hollywood and now she’s playing someone’s mom. We feel old.

Butter is directed by Jim Field Smith and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2011.

What do you think of your first taste of Butter?
