While MGM is busy making plans for a big screen adaptation of The Outer Limits they should be focusing on one of the many properties that they’ve given the shaft. Namely, the James Bond franchise, which has been put on hold indefinitely. Star Daniel Craig is one of the many people hoping that the studio will come to their senses and give the next film the go ahead. He wants to play Bond again. He wants to play him bad…

According to a recent interview with Craig, he revealed that he still has hope for the series and wants to get back to work.

The new Bond movie is on hold but I am champing at the bit to get going on it as quickly as possible. I love playing Bond – I don’t want to be away from it for too long.”

See MGM? He’s become one with the character. He needs a Bond fix just as bad as the rest of us. This Bond paranoia has reached epic proportions, the character has even landed on the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly with the headline, “Goodbye Mr. Bond.”

Everyone’s scared sh*tless that if the character is out of the public’s eye for several years that it will lose its momentum. Craig’s still young, we need to get him back into that suit and tie while he’s hot!

Are you ready for a new Bond film?
