Upcoming Movies: Dinner for Schmucks, Cats and Dogs, Charlie St. Cloud
By Krystal Clark
This weekend theaters will be filled with a mix of everything. Steve Carell reunites with his 40 Year Old Virgin co-star Paul Rudd for the film Dinner for Schmucks. It’s an American remake of a French movie about a group of upper crust execs who throw a weekly dinner party and bring the dumbest, most obnoxious people they can find as guests. On the family front, Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is also opening (to the dismay of the general population). The film, like its predecessor showcases the war between canines and felines that just won’t end!
More upcoming movies….
Are you ready to stare into Zac Efron’s piercing blue eyes for an hour and a half? His latest film Charlie St. Cloud is sure to feature plenty of teary close ups because it centers on a young man who can’t let go of his dead brother. On the smaller, indie front there’s The Extra Man with Kevin Kline and Paul Dano, which centers on an eccentric professor who in his spare time acts as a companion to rich widows. There’s also Get Low, the creepy flick about a guy who decides to throw a party at his own funeral — while he’s still alive. It stars Robert Duvall and Bill Murray.
