Now that we have an idea of what Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch looks like (watch the trailer) the real promotion for the film can begin. Over on IMPawards, they released a super, extra long movie banner that features the leading ladies backed by a huge robot going after an army of men. Not only that but they’re also standing on human skulls while operating machine guns. Check out the full photo below…

Set in the 1950s, Sucker Punch follows Babydoll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.

Why is this poster so wide? Perhaps Warner Bros wants us to be blown away by the scope of the whole thing. It looks like the ladies are up against some serious soldiers in a post apocalyptic world but they seem to be holding their own.

Sucker Punch hits theaters everywhere on March 25, 2011.

What do you think of the new Sucker Punch banner?
