Smallville Season 10 Trailer – Flight and Tights?

A trailer has been released for the tenth and final season of The CW’s “Smallville” and it tugs at our Superman heart strings. One of the things people have been bitching and moaning about is Clark’s lack of flight and his corny superhero outfit, which is currently an all black, trench coat ensemble. At the end of last season the show alluded to the famous blue and red suit and after watching this trailer, we might actually get to see him in it. Take a look…

There is some footage from season 9 in the video mixed in with some new stuff that shows us a more mature, “super” version of Clark Kent. For the longest time, there’s been a huge debate about why certain elements from the Superman mythology have popped up in the series and others haven’t. They can have Lois and The Daily Planet but they can’t have flight or the red and blue suit. It’s a clause fans have affectionately named, “no tights, no flight.”

At the very end of the trailer you can literally see a glimpse of a red figure flying past The Daily Planet sign. Talk about a teaser! The season premiere of “Smallville” airs on The CW on September 24th.
