The hilarious actor who stars in all of those crazy commercials for Old Spice has landed a feature film gig. Isaiah Mustafa, who’s become a cult sensation as the bare-chested, towel wearing spokesman for the brand is branching out into movies. He’s landed a role in the comedy Horrible Bosses, which features a slew of stars including Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, Jason Bateman, and Jamie Foxx.
The film centers on a group of frustrated employees. Some of the characters include a master manipulator, a sexually aggressive dentist and a weaselly scion. Mustafa had this to say about his role in the film,
“It’s a smaller role, but who wouldn’t want to be in one of these funny, irreverent comedies? The cast is great. I’m playing a cop because I play these authoritative characters well. I don’t know exactly who I’m in the scene with — maybe Jennifer Aniston!”
Mustafa will also appear in an upcoming episode of NBC’s “Chuck” and has a role in Tyler Perry’s latest film, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When Rainbow is Enuf. Get your money Old Spice guy! He’s been a favorite of ours for a while but he really made it to the top of our list when he gave a personal shout out to our very own Mali Elfman after she wrote an article about his latest commercial. How cool is that?!
What do you think of Mustafa co-starring in Horrible Bosses?
