Justin Timberlake Cast in I’m.mortal?

Justin Timberlake just can’t stop acting! The singer-songwriter turned thespian has several films heading to theaters this year including the animated feature Yogi Bear and the highly anticipated David Fincher film, The Social Network. Now according to a report from Deadline, he might team up with his Alpha Dog co-star Amanda Seyfried in the sci-fi thriller I’m.mortal.
The site scooped the casting news that Timberlake had been offered the lead in the film, which will be jointly produced by New Regency and Fox. Finke kind of glazed over that piece of info because it was part of a bigger story that had to do with the whole will he or won’t he join “American Idol” fiasco. And if you’re curious at the moment, he and Elton John are still denying any involvement with the show.
Back to I’m.mortal, the story takes place “in a future society where people can’t age and can only stay alive as long as they pay. Seyfried is playing the role of a woman kidnapped by a man whose time has expired so he goes on the run, taking her with him.” Since his time has expired, shouldn’t he be older than 29 which is Timberlake’s age?
Even though I’m not a fan of the man’s acting I have to admit that he has gotten slightly better since his roles in Longshot and Disney’s Model Behavior. If neither of those titles sound familiar, look up clips on YouTube, his performance will terrify you!

You reference Longshot and Model Behavior as barometer for Justin Timberlake's acting?
Are you serious with that? Wasn't Justin like 14 or 15 in those films?
You must have been an nsync fan even to know about these films. Even I, who is a fan of JT, have not seen the aformented films. I don't do Disney flicks. But I have seen Alpha Dog and jt did a hell of a job in that movie.

Nope, actually he was 19 in those movies and I didn't like him in Alpha Dog. I thought he was trying too hard. That's the joy of being able to have an opinion, we don't all have to agree.

I am pretty sure he was not 19 in those films.
The point I was making is if you are going to show an example of Justin's acting, at least compare his acting in recent films. You know he has made a few films since Model Behavior.
Why mention a decade old films made when he was a kid?

both movies were from 2000 and he was born in 81, so yeah he was 19. And the reason I used those as examples is because I don't think he has changed THAT MUCH since then.
Not a fan of his acting. You can have your opinion and I can have mine. Nothing wrong with that.
