What better than watching one of the most torturous things in the world for 90 minutes than experiencing it!? If you want to go through complete and total hell, you’re in luck! Because Lionsgate will be conducting a mass burial at San Diego Comic-Con 2010! Apparently the The Zombie Walk is too boring for people these days!

I have to say, I don’t really understand what they’re doing. I saw Buried at Sundance and it was one of the most suspenseful and joyfully cringing films I’ve ever seen. The idea of experiencing something like that first hand doesn’t exactly sound fun, but then again I’ve lost track of what all those crazy kids are into these days. Is suffocating in a coffin cool now? What I do know is that starting this Wednesday, Comic-Con attendees will get the chance to become part of a terrifying virtual interactive experience at the San Diego Convention Center.

What you have to do is record video of your burial (damn that sounds wrong!) and then somehow they will add you in so that you can become part of a virtual online cemetery. I think that’s less scary then them burying you? Although, this sounds like it should come with some warnings or at least a “How-To” guide.

You can experience Buried at Lionsgate Booth #3729 and for more information check out more at their website experienceburied.com where you can see people who have already been buried. Yay! You’re all crazy!

Wacth the trailer for the film to get an idea of what you’re in for…
