This weekend there’s a wide variety of films for you to chose from. If you like horror and gore there’s Nimrod Antal’s reboot Predators, based on the popular eighties franchise that features aliens who hunt down and kill humans. In this case, the world’s most deadly assassins have been dropped on their planet and left to the predators mercy. The cast is led by Oscar winner Adrien Brody and Laurence Fishburne. There’s also the family film Despicable Me, with Steve Carell and Jason Segel as two super-villains fighting each other for evil supremacy. Like every animated film hitting theaters these days, it’s in 3D!

Check out what else is opening this weekend…

There’s also the indie dramedy The Kids Are All Right about two adopted siblings who go on a search to find their birth father. Once he’s in their lives they notice their family dynamic shift in a unique and positive way. If you’re still living in the past you can go check out the Grease Sing-a-long, and recite some of your favorite tunes without having people throw things at you. It’s a limited engagement so buy tickets while you can.
