Later this month countless TV, film, and of course comic stars will descend upon San Diego for its annual Comic-Con celebration. Within the following weeks the 2010 panels will be fully revealed with the latest addition being the long running CW series, “Smallville” and its star Tom Welling.
According to Zap2it, Welling will make his second appearance at Comic-Con this year, which is crazy considering that his show has been on for 9 seasons and it’s based on the biggest comic hero of all time. Either way, he’ll be joined by co-stars Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, and Justin Hartley for a one hour panel session featuring a sneak peek at the premiere episode of the final season.
The showrunners Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson will also take part in the panel that will be moderated by writer/producer Geoff Johns, the chief creative officer at DC entertainment. It can’t get much more official than that. This will be the show’s final appearance at the convention (unless they return for a special reunion or something) since it’s entering its last season.
The panel will take place on July 25, 2010.
What do you think of Welling’s decision to return to Comic-Con? Who are you the most excited to see this year?
