For those of you who have been with the CBS procedural drama “CSI” since season one, you’d find it hard to watch without Catherine Willows. It’s bad enough William Petersen and Gary Dourdan are no longer regulars, we couldn’t take it if Marg Helgenberger jumped ship too! According to EW, she’s sticking around to find more clues and solve more murders thanks to the re-up of her contract.

Sources confirm to the site that Helgenberger has just finalized a new contract with the network and the producers, which now leaves her co-stars in question. Fellow veterans of the series including George Eads (Nick), Eric Szmanda (Greg), and Paul Guilfoyle (Jim) are all still negotiating their new contracts. They’re trying to figure out whether or not they’ll stay beyond the show’s 11th season.

On another note, Jorgia Fox is also in talks to return to “CSI” in “some capacity.” Unfortunately Liz Vassey will not be making a return with her character Wendy. A source close to the producers claim, “The show is going in a different creative direction in its 11th season.”

Are you excited that Helgenberger has decided to stick with the show until the end? Are there any characters you on board that you want to leave?
