Two more actors have joined the cast of Wes Craven’s Scream 4 and they’ve both appeared on a few cult TV shows. According to The Wrap, “Community and “Mad Men’s” Alison Brie and “Battlestar Galactica’s” Mary McDonnell have signed on for roles in the highly anticipated sequel. Just yesterday we learned that Marley Shelton, Adam Brody, and Erik Knudsen joined the cast and now here comes these two!

The site claims that Brie will play “Sidney Prescott’s ambitious personal assistant who secretly envies her boss’ reluctant fame and fortune.” In other words she’ll probably be one of the main suspects for the murders because of her jealousy. On the other hand, McDonnell’s role hasn’t been confirmed so her part is up in the air. I wonder if she’ll replace Lauren Graham as Emma Roberts mom?

With the addition of Brie and McDonnell, the cast of Scream 4 also includes Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, and Anthony Anderson. The acting roster for this movie seems to be shaping up pretty well. It will be interesting to see how everything turns out.

Scream 4 is currently in production in Michigan and is slated to hit theaters on April 15, 2011.

Who do you think McDonnell will play in the film? Are you looking forward to seeing the movie?
