Two More Photos From AMC’s The Walking Dead

AMC’s newest series, “The Walking Dead” is currently filming in Georgia and a couple photos have already been released from the shoot. A few weeks ago, we got our first look at a female “walker,” then a shot of the show’s star Andrew Lincoln as the protagonist Rick Grimes, and now two more images have hit the net. They include another photo of Grimes and a male zombie…
The first season of “The Walking Dead” will only be six episodes and it will make its debut during AMC’s Fearfest in October. The series is written, produced and directed by three-time Academy Award-nominee Frank Darabont and produced by Gale Anne Hurd (The Incredible Hulk, The Terminator). The story centers on Rick Grimes, a small-town cop who leads a group of survivors in their struggle against a world besieged by zombies.
AMC has a grade-A line up of original programming and “The Walking Dead” should be no different. Since it tackles the horror genre, it will be interesting to see how it fits in with the network’s current roster.

This is going to be awesome. I have the graphic novels and finally we can get some real zombie action not a freaking comedy movie

Absolutely cannot wait for this. The quality level behind the scenes is very high, the source material is superb and it looks like they are taking it very seriously. This is going to be a series that could have serious dramatic legs if people just get behind it. There'll be a lot of naysayers because it has zombies in it but trust me, this will be no Zombieland.
