VOTD: Tom Cruise Can’t Stop Running!

There’s something that I’ve always noticed about Tom Cruise, and it’s not his deceiving height, it’s his capacity for speed. In almost every movie he’s in there’s always a scene that features him running like a chicken with its head cut off. Between all the Mission Impossible movies, Minority Report, Vanilla Sky, and even his upcoming feature Knight and Day, this man just can’t stand still. Did my eyes deceive me or was there a shot of him running in The Firm or was that A Few Good Men? Either way, weren’t those hardcore legal dramas? Why can’t this man stay in one place? Now that he’s well into his 40s I wonder how long he can play such cardio-centric characters?
If they mixed in this footage with some scenes of Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump this could be a masterpiece! We should also get a compilation of him smiling and chuckling so loudly that it borders on terrifying. If there’s one out there that shows that, throw it our way.

He's been running for 40-some-odd years. If he'd come out, maybe he could finally stand still.
