Jesse Eisenberg in The Social Network Movie Poster

The first poster has been released for David Fincher’s The Social Network and it features actor, Jesse Eisenberg. The film chronicles the rise of Facebook via Mark Zuckerberg, a college student who had a dream and a lot of free time on his hands. Eisenberg will star as the lead alongside Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Joe Mazzello and Rashida Jones. Check out the poster below…
The Social Network is based on the book, The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal, which tells the story behind the controversial birth of the website. Eisenberg and Garfield play Facebook co-founders Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin, while Timberlake stars as Sean Parker, the co-founder of Napster and the founding president of the site.
The tagline for the poster reads: “You don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies.” Touche! The screenplay was written by award winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and is scheduled to hit theaters on October 1, 2010.
The url on the side of the poster 500millionfriends.com, takes you to the official website for the film, which features the above photo and a request to register for updates. We’re sure more content will be added as we get closer to the film’s release.

I 100% plan on seeing this movie. Both Justin Timberlake and Jesse Eisenberg are talented actors and it has to be a fascinating story.
