Disney wants you to start your morning off with a heavy dose of Nicholas Cage so they’ve released the second trailer for Jon Turteltaub’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Not only that but a new one sheet has also surfaced that features Alfred Molina’s character aptly labeled as “The Villain,” which fits in well with “The Wizard” poster we brought you yesterday. Check out the latest trailer and one sheet below…

This movie is giving off a serious Transformers vibe. There are cool shape-shifting cars involved and a dorky protagonist who somehow catches the attention of the prettiest girl in his class. There’s even a line from Revenge of the Fallen that pops up when Cages says “Great men have always been called.” Didn’t Optimus Prime say something similar like, “Fate rarely calls upon us at a time of our choosing?” Hmmm.

In the film, Cage plays a contemporary sorcerer who seeks and finds an apprentice to help him combat an impeding danger. Molina plays the main villain, an evil sorcerer who believes the world centers around two things, power and control. Jay Baruchel stars as the title character who’s taken under Cage’s wing, and gets stuck in the middle of an epic battle.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice hits theaters on July 14, 2010.
