The first trailer for the Eli Roth produced horror flick The Last Exorcism has been released and to be completely honest it looks vaguely familiar. Not just because it’s another “possession” movie but because it looks like it stole some of the cinematography from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. And we’re pretty sure there’s a bit of Blair Witch in there too. Is anything original in this movie? Check out the trailer and you tell us…

The Last Exorcism centers on a small Louisiana town where a teenage girl has been possessed by the devil. A popular reverend named Cotton Marcus comes in with a television crew in tow to document her exorcism, not knowing that it will be his last. The film is directed by Daniel Stamm and is scheduled to hit theaters on August 27th.

We don’t know about you but there’s nothing scarier than a teenager wearing an old woman’s nightgown hiding in dark corners (rolling eyes). It’s sad when the poster for a movie is more terrifying than the actual trailer. What type of sign in that for the film itself?
