We’re convinced that Dana Delany made a blood pact with ABC. She was on “Desperate Housewives,” then she popped up on “Castle,” and now she’s got her own show coming out called “Body of Proof.” It sounds like that horrible Russell Crowe movie from 2000 Proof of Life mixed with that horrible Russell Crowe movie from 2008 called Body of Lies. “Body of Proof” is a new medical drama that centers on a neurosurgeon-turned-medical examiner (Delany) whose expertise helps solve murder cases. Here’s your first piece of the newly picked up ABC series. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think.

Is it just us or does this look like a milder, less hilarious version of “House?” She’s the biggest expert in her field and she plays by her own rules. “Her methods are unconventional and unorthodox.” There are so many cliched lines in this trailer it’s not even funny.

ABC picked up some of the most repetitive and mediocre dramas we’ve ever seen for next season. Their comedy roster is awesome but besides long running shows like “Grey’s Anatomy” their hour long shows suck.
