Twilight Eclipse Clip: Dakota Fanning as Jane

Over at iTunes they’ve released the first movie clip from this summer’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. It features Dakota Fanning, her Volturi brethren, and their beady red eyes. We all know that Jane’s a bitch and they try to drive that point home in this scene where she turns on one of her clan members when he says something she doesn’t like. Overacting ensues. The third installment of the vampire-werewolf series is directed by David Slade, who’s known for his films Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night. Eclipse will show a darker side of the Twilight story that will be filled death and consequences. Check out some of those consequences right now…

The acting in this clip is pretty bad. It’s hard to watch without wanting to gag on the cliched lines like “Decisions. Decisions.” Someone needs to tell Jane to stop trying so hard. If you’re truly a badass it will be obvious to those around you. The screenwriter behind this “masterpiece” must not understand the concept of subtly.
