The first official trailer has been released for George Nolfi‘s upcoming thriller, The Adjustment Bureau. The film has an all-star cast led by Matt Damon and features every actor under the sun including Emily Blunt, Anthony Mackie, John Slaterry, Daniel Dae Kim, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly and Terence Stamp. Check out the trailer…
In The Adjustment Bureau, Damon plays a smooth talking congressman who has a serious future in national politics. He meets a beautiful ballerina, but is unable to make a connection with her due to strange and uncontrollable circumstances.
Whenever Terence Stamp is involved with anything, you should suspect that something bad is about to happen. The premise for the film is pretty interesting because it plays with the Divine or supernatural idea of Fate but modernizes it a bit. For those of you who watch the Fox series “Fringe,” do you get “The Observers” vibe from the four men in the bureau? Their singular actions and one note behaviors reminds us of them.
The Adjustment Bureau debuts in theaters nationwide on September 17, 2010 (Note from Editor: The film has been pushed to March 4, 2011) and like every other creepy film that’s come out over the past 25 years it’s also based on a short story by Philip K. Dick.
