If you’re sick of seeing Jerry Bruckheimer dominate theaters with his blockbuster movies don’t think you can escape his presence on the small screen. The super-producer has several highly rated TV projects including the procedural dramas “CSI”, “CSI: Miami“, “CSI: New York” and the award winning reality show, “The Amazing Race.” According to Coming Soon, he’s gearing up to add another series to his current roster with the NBC drama, “Chase”.

In an official statement released by NBC Universal, the network announced that they’ve picked up their fifth scripted series following JJ Abrams’Undercovers.” “Chase” centers on an elite team of U.S. Marshals who hunt down the country’s most dangerous fugitives. Kelli Giddish who starred in the short-lived Fox drama “Past Life” plays the lead character “U.S. Marshal Annie Frost, a cowboy boot-wearing deputy whose sharp mind and unique Texas upbringing help her track down the violent criminals on the run.”

Giddish will be joined by Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco , Rose Rollins, and Jesse Metcalfe. The cast for this show was sounding pretty decent until they threw in the slimy gardener from “Desperate Housewives.” Are we supposed to take Metcalfe seriously as a U.S. Marshal? He just ruined the whole vibe. Boo!

What do you think of Bruckheimer’s latest series, Chase? Will you watch it?
