Stan Lee knows a thing or two about people with “special abilities.” He’s the man behind some of the biggest comic book heroes of all time such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, and The Fantastic Four. His latest venture will go from page to screen as he takes on a new TV series for The History Channel called “Stan Lee’s Superheroes.”

According to THR, the cable network has picked up Lee’s reality series that will profile real people who have remarkable abilities because of their genetic differences. In other words, he’ll be seeking out and exposing real life X-Men! Lee will co-host the show alongside Daniel Browning Smith, who’s also known as the world’s most flexible man.

“Stan Lee’s Superhumans” is scheduled to air during The History Channel’s third quarter along with five other series and specials including The Kennedys miniseries starring Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes. We wonder what the set up for “Superhumans” will be?

The last time we saw Lee on a reality show it was for the 2006 competition  “Who Wants to Be A Superhero” that featured his biggest fans fighting to be immortalized in their own comic book. Are we the only ones who remember that ?

What do you think of Stan Lee’s Superhumans? Will you watch the show?
