Everyone’s favorite piece of brunette eye candy Megan Fox and that guy from those two Fox shows that got canceled Brian Austin Green are the latest “stars” to appear in a video for Funny or Die. The duo take on the serious issue of budget cuts in the overcrowded public school system, which is kind of ironic because when you hear about lack of proper education don’t you think of Megan Fox? Check it out…
This has to be one of the weirdest Funny Or Die videos to date because it wasn’t particularly funny and the casting of Geoff Stults as Governor Schwarzenegger‘s henchman seems off. There are several references to Fox’s claim to fame in Transformers and the DVD literally pops up 3 times on screen ( I smell subliminal marketing). Also Brian Austin Green aka BAG engages in a conversation about The Terminator, while the score from the film plays in the background, which is convenient since he starred in the short-lived series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” (also on DVD).
The one thing I did find hilarious about this PSA was the part where Fox told BAG she was being watched by two creepy dads and he suggested that she hide in the library. That was smart thinking on his part because no one is going to look for her there surrounded by all those books. Megan Fox, ink, paper, binding? Nah!
The only good thing to come out of this was awareness for the SayNoToCuts campaign, which is actually legit. So support the teachers but not this video.
What do you think about Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green’s serious attempt at humor?
