In an effort to go above and beyond with their viral marketing for Iron Man 2, Marvel entertainment has launched a website for Stark Expo 2010 through the research development firm, Accutech Research and Development. Accutech is about to premiere a breakthrough in anthropo-robotics — the new HazTech robotic exoskeleton which has revolutionary hyper-sensors and nano-hydraulic technology, the exoskeleton is able to detect and amplify body movement (sound familiar?). According to the site the suit covers over 80% of the human body, it also protects its wearer from high impact and extreme temperatures.
The website has many special features from videos to almost 20 images of the fairgrounds/exhibition. It also features an interactive map of the expo and has a countdown going until the 2010 Stark Expo takes place in Flushing Meadows, New York.
It should come as no surprise that the website was launched to help build the “real life” mystery behind the 1974 Stark Expo which Tony Stark’s father, Howard Stark, launched in the 1960’s. Chances are this is going to be a big part of the upcoming film. The quality of the website is impressive. What better way to bring it to life?
