From the director that brought you Now That’s What I Call Music!: The Best Videos of 2003! comes Lottery Ticket. I know nothing about this film but let me just give it a go — Someone wins the lottery, has every problem in the world trying to cash it in, he/she makes all the wrong decisions (falling for the pretty, yet evil person, buys frivolous things, rides in excessively big limos etc.) and then learns the error of his/her ways and does something good (probably giving to homeless shelter or something his/her community needs. Lets see if I’m right…

The official synopsis from IMDB:

The story of a young man living in the projects who has to survive a three-day weekend after his opportunistic neighbors find out he’s holding a winning lottery ticket worth $350 million

I think I was pretty close! In fact I think I one upped the synopsis if I do say so myself. While on IMDB I found 4 other films with the same title, so I don’t even think you can call this a remake. I think the trailer definitely proves my point…

Director Erik White (I don’t mean to tease) brings us his first feature film starring Bow Wow, Mike Epps and Ice Cube, which he wrote and directed. Chances are he’s been trying to get something made for a while and went for something that “the every man” could enjoy.

What do you think? Is this a film you’re excited for?
