Because, if you’re like me, Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over left you with so many unanswered questions (as in, dude, what’s happening to your career?  Let’s huddle up and talk about this…) that you just HAD to have another film. Well, you can breathe a sigh of relief over the following: Film Junk is reporting that Rodriguez will continue his pattern of alternating cheesy fun trash flicks (the upcoming Predators and Machete) with yet another cheesy and not fun children’s film, Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World.

Maybe this shouldn’t come as too big a surprise or disappointment, considering the fact that his last kiddie flicks was the abysmally inexplicable The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D and Shorts—at this point, you just have to expect this stuff from the guy.  Let’s all just hope that the sleaze cinema of Predators and Machete will be strong enough to distract from the film that Rodriguez is essentially calling a reboot, in that it will be starring “different kids, not the old kids.”

Does this mean will be forced to stomach a whole new trilogy of these things?  And in inevitable 3-D?  I humbly submit and request that the entire human population please stop procreating—now, now, don’t panic, just for the next thirty years or so—just long enough for there to be no new children to populate/ watch these films while Rodriguez continues to direct them.  It’s the only way we’re gonna stop these things, people.

What do you think of the news?  Do you want to see yet another Spy Kids?
