Steve Carell has played several crazy characters over the past few years but none as off the rocker as Brick Tamland. Yes, the slightly mentally challenged weatherman he portrayed in the comedy, Anchorman. In honor of April Fools Day, Carell decided to tap back into his Tamland roots and do a special weather report for England’s GMTV. Take a look…

Carell must have been overseas promoting his upcoming movie Date Night, when he performed this impromptu weather report. The actor received help from the newscast’s usual forecaster but he still didn’t know what the hell he was doing. Even though he was in front of a European map, he called out cities like Los Angeles and New York, and even pointed out Newfoundland, which is in Canada. It was pretty bad, but equally hilarious.

The regular news team and Carell were both good sports about this because there is no way I would have been able to keep a straight face. It doesn’t seem as if this weather skit was thoroughly rehearsed because he had no idea what he was pointing to and at any given time. They had to physically move him to the other side of the green screen just to make sure he wasn’t blocking the map.

Check out Steve as Brick aka the Weatherman. He starts at the :49 second mark…
