Actress, writer, and producer Tina Fey recently appeared on an episode of “Late Show with David Letterman” and gave an impersonation of her “30 Rock” co-star Tracy Morgan. If you’ve ever seen the actor in an interview, you know he has a unique way of speaking and Fey has spent so much time with him that she’s picked up on a few “Morganisms.”

Both Letterman and Fey spoke about their interactions with Morgan, and discussed their inability to sometimes understand him. Fey gives an on-set example of when Morgan tried to describe a famous actor to her, but he couldn’t quite get the name right. She also spoke about his flirting techniques, and how his approach to women is a lot different from the other men on the show.

Fey was on Letterman promoting “30 Rock” as well as her upcoming movie Date Night that stars fellow NBC comedy star, Steve Carell. Some people thought Fey’s reenactment of Morgan was borderline offensive, while I on the other hand found it funny. What do you think? Do you think Fey’s impersonation of Morgan was right on the money or a slight exaggeration?
