Canada’s version of Entertainment Tonight recently ran a behind the scenes segment on the upcoming Scott Stewart film, Priest. The manga adaptation reunites the director with his Legion star Paul Bettany and features a cast of actors who know a thing or two about vampires. I’m talking Stephen Moyer from “True Blood” and Cam Gigandet from Twilight (those two always come to ahead don’t they?).

Priest centers on “a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire and follows a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece.” The cast also includes Maggie Q, Karl Urban, Oscar nominee Christopher Plummer, and Madchen Amick.

In the behind the scenes video both Moyer and Gigandet talk about how different the vampires in Priest are in comparison to the ones their used to playing. Moyer even states that Priest’s vampires would give the “True Blood” cast a run for their money. Gasp! As for the film’s star, Bettany spoke highly of his shooting experience and said the filming process for the movie has been amazing.

Priest will be released in U.S theaters on January 14, 2011, and yes it will be in 3D (sigh).
