Days after the amazing debut of the theatrical trailer for Tron Legacy, a new billboard has been released and it features more lightcycle action. If you haven’t watched the new trailer, I suggest you take a gander because it’s definitely worth a few minutes of your time. The latest promo piece from Legacy is a lot more colorful, and features twice the action as one of its stars goes toe to toe in a high tech battle…
Tron Legacy will hit theaters on December 17, 2010, which means we have a long wait until we delve back into its famous 3-D world. The first movie came out in 1982 and starred Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn, a man who learned the power of Tron the hard way. Tron Legacy will take place over two decades later, and center on Flynn’s son Sam (Garrett Hedlund) who’s just as tech savvy as his father.
The new billboard shows Sam going up against the rider of a yellow lightcycle and it looks like only one of them will make it out alive. This is the third of three billboards that have been released featuring this lightcycle fight. First, there was one with Sam on his own, then there was a profile shot of the yellow cycle, and now we have a photo of both riders together. Everything in the world of Tron is a puzzle.
