Tron Legacy Trailer Reveals Key Characters

If you weren’t blown away by last night’s debut of Tron Legacy’s theatrical trailer you need to take a closer look. The video featured plenty of off the wall graphics that would make the most stubborn movie buff take notice. Within the trailer we saw plenty of new footage that highlighted several of the primary characters in the film including the return of Bruce Boxleitner from the original. Below we’ve got some high quality stills taken directly from the video that gives a breakdown of who’s who in the Tron Legacy world…

In the new trailer for Tron Legacy there’s a lot for viewers to digest. It was beautifully put together and gave us shots of several characters old and new. We already know the gist of the story but the trailer actually gave us some live action footage to coordinate with the plot.

The film will center on Kevin Flynn’s (Jeff Bridges) son Sam (Garrett Hedlund), and his attempt to rescue his father from inside the Tron program. It turns out that Kevin has been living in the digital world for the past 25 years, and has had little to no contact with his son. Aided by his trusted friend Quorra (Olivia Wilde), Sam embarks on a life-and-death journey to escape the cyber universe that has become far more advanced and dangerous since the last time we saw it.
