It’s just been announced that NBC will renew their current Thursday night line up for another season. From 8-10 PM, they will continue to air “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “Community,” and “Parks and Recreation.” “Parks and Rec” was already green lit for a third season less than a month ago, and now the rest of the comedy block is following suit.

Not to take away from the other comedies on the Thursday roster, but the show to keep an eye on is “Community.” It kicks everything off at 8 PM, and it has to be one of the funniest shows I’ve ever watched. It features Joel Mchale from “Talk Soup,” and Chevy Chase returning to his former funny glory. A lot of the actors from the show took to their Twitter pages to announce the news to the fans who’ve been on pins and needles waiting for an update.

Daniel Pudi who stars as Ahbed on Community tweeted, ““Drizzle drizzle! NBC picked us up for Season 2 of Greendale shenanigans. Thank YOU for watching and Thank YOU cast/crew for the best job!” He was also joined by co-star Yvette Freeman who also spread the word by saying, “We just got called into the make-up trailer and told that WE GOT PICKED UP FOR A SECOND SEASON.”

After reading that I wondered what it must have felt like when the entire cast heard they were picked up for a second season. Lucky for us we don’t have to wonder, because it was all caught on video! Check out the actor’s reactions over at executive producer Dan Harmon’s Twitter Page.

What do you think of all four comedies being renewed for another season? Was there a show that shouldn’t have made the cut?
