i dont know what yall been smoking when you watched this movie, but it was total crap. it sucked balls.. good thing i saw it for free on a plane ride. but it gave me the biggest feeling of dissatisfaction and headache ive ever had. i guess the graphics were good, but who the hell cares about graphics if the story and acting blows?? that girl who plays alice was a poor actor and what was wrong with anne hathaway with her hands dangling in mid air the whole time? i didnt get it. possibly the worst movie of all time. just cus its by a famous actor and there are some notable stars on it doesnt give anyone an excuse to be biased. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!

I rather enjoyed the movie. Of course, if you went to see it based on every pre-conceived notion you have ever known about Alice in Wonderland then of course you were disappointed. You would have been better off to buy/rent/borrow the Disney version in cartoon form if you wanted fairy tales and a giggly girl!
I loved the back stories for the characters. Alice as a little girl painting roses red. The Hatter remembering how the Red Queen became queen. And, I got a chuckle out of the games in the movie. Playing Cards for the Red queen. Chess Pieces for the White queen, a checker board for the battle field and the dominoes for the defeat of the red queens cards!!! I especially liked the transformation of the blue caterpillar. Just as Alice visited his homeland, he grew up inside Wonderland and then transformed into her world. Little things that you can only enjoy if you want to enjoy them. And of course Futterwacking is the most fun word to use, it has become a joke of a common use around our house. Those that havent seen the movie only give us strange looks when we say that word… and that, is true Johnny Depp form!! LOVED IT!!

I felt it like a kind of good-bye. Good-bye for smth indefinite like youth. The same person Tim Berton you've been in touch with for 20 years, but not guite the same. It's a kind of loss. From now on we'll met him only in the past wathing Edward or Charlie. Although Johnny is still Johnny. He is out of age. Brilliant. Far above life level…

redone on the same plot. i was doubtfull of tim burton because lets face it hes lost it. but several people claimed helen bomacarter (the red queen) outstaged Johnny depp (the mad hatter) . WOW i thought. The movie sucks so bad i really didnt care about the acting

Alice in Wonderland definitely sucked. wow what a disappointment. they bled the magic right out of it- making it not a sequel, not a remake, but a misshapen disastrous combination of the two. ugh

We enjoyed our "Alice" matinee. My nine-year-old loved analyzing the symbolism; my four-year-old had fun laughing, and my two-year-old feared the "dragon." Remembering my father says fear is a learned behavior, I told her it's only a dragon. She said "Oh, okay." I really liked it as everyone contributed in just the right way to present a story I read long ago. Stay with the story to see the Futterwacking and definite choreography influence. : )
