According to a new press release sent out by ABC Studios, their late night host Jimmy Kimmel will have first dibs on the latest trailer for Paramount’s Iron Man 2. That’s right, you won’t have to wait until it debuts online or in your local theater. The trailer is coming home to you, and Robert Downey Jr. will give it a formal introduction.

The Iron Man 2 trailer will be unveiled this Sunday after ABC’s telecast of the Academy Awards. Downey (who’s been nominated twice for an Oscar) will appear on the fifth annual “Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards” special. He won’t be alone because prior to a performance by musical guest Keith Urban, Downey will introduce the trailer to the world. The show will air after the late local news (12:05-1:05 a.m., ET, approx), so do what you have to to stay awake.

Iron Man 2 will hit theaters on May 7th of this year, which means we have a few more months until we get to see the entire film. After watching the teaser and the first theatrical trailer, we’re ready for some new material, but will we get to hear Scarlett Johansson’s voice in this version? We need to know if she will have the traditional Black Widow accent that’s implied in the comic.

Are you excited for the next Iron Man 2 trailer? What do you want to see more of?
