It’s been a long time since we’ve seen the in or outside of Kevin Flynn’s arcade from the world of Tron, but a new photo has surfaced from Disney’s Tron Legacy marking its return. This high quality image from the studio, unveils the dilapidated look of Flynn’s former hangout. You can view the  full sized version below…

The image was taken from the upcoming Tron Legacy trailer that will appear in front of this week’s Alice in Wonderland. Even though it’s a screencap, it still manages to show us plenty of detail regarding the story now as opposed to where we left it over 20 years ago.

Tron Legacy will hit theaters on December 17, 2010, which means we have a long wait until we delve back into its famous 3-D world. The first movie came out in 1982 and starred Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn, a man who learned the power of Tron the hard way. Tron Legacy will take place over two decades later, and center on Flynn’s son Sam (Garrett Hedlund) who’s just as tech savvy as his father.

It turns out that Kevin has been living in the world of Tron for the past 25 years, and Sam wants to find and release him. Aided by his trusted friend Quorra (Olivia Wilde), the duo embark on a life-and-death journey to escape the cyber universe that has become far more advanced and dangerous since the last time we saw it.
