It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything related to Iron Man 2, so here’s a refresher course of the awesomeness we can expect t see this summer. Over at MSN France they’ve released a behind the scenes featurette that includes interviews with the film’s stars as well as its director Jon Favreau. The video runs for over 3 minutes and it focuses on the international phenomenon that is Tony Stark.
A lot of the footage shown in this video includes stuff we’ve already seen from the trailer, but we still get a few interesting glimpses of Mickey Rourke’s Whiplash. We also get to hear the actor’s take on his experience starring in a comic book movie of this stature and the directing technique of Favreau. In the clip, we learn that Whiplash comes for Tony on the race track when he’s at his most vulnerable, and it looks like the sh*t is about to hit the fan.
At one point during the featurette Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) chimes in and says the race track scene in Monaco will be “ridiculously off the hook.” I’d love to see some of her scenes in this film because at the moment she’s the only character I’m worried about NOT being off the hook.
You can check out the video over at MSN France and we’ll have it posted here as soon as it becomes available.
What do you think of the latest Iron Man 2 featurette? Are you excited to see the film?
