Toy Story 3 Peas-In-A-Pod Poster

This morning two new posters have been released for Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 3. One of them is a character banner that features the new toy, Peas-in-a-Pod, while the other is a teaser (above) that states that 14 new characters will be featured in the film. The premise of Toy Story 3 surrounds Andy’s move to college and the toys needing to find a new home. Andy’s mother wants to put Buzz,Woody, and the rest of the gang out to pasture but somehow they end up at a daycare center. The joyous event soon turns sour when they realize that toddler’s aren’t that gentle or clean. From that point on, they devise a plan to break out of the daycare by any means necessary.
Over at Coming Soon, they’ve got the exclusive first look at the plush new character that will be featured in the film, and at your local toy store.
Peas-in-a-Pod will quickly become a parent’s favorite on-the-go toy. The soft, plush pod secures the happy peas inside with a durable metal zipper, making it perfect for the car or stroller. The Peas-in-a-Pod plush toy also develops fine motor skills by catering to a child’s natural grab instinct. Pulling the three peas out of the pod will provide repeated enjoyment for infants and toddlers, and soon they’ll learn to put them back in! Machine washable. Not for human consumption.

England has its own peas in the pod !….the peapod family . First designed in 2004 they have been selling well since mid 2008 on their own and also along with story books.

Although similar and such a shame that pixar are now going to hit the stores with their version ,the English peas in a pod ' the peapod family' have been on sale since mid 2008 and can be purchased from their website.
