Despite Ledger giving the performance of a generation, before TDK nobody would consider Ledger in the same league as Dicaprio and I still dont. Look at his "Whats Eating Gilbert Grape" or "This Boy's Life", he's more than capable of pulling it off and even exceeding Ledger's Joker. If you read the comic you know that the Joker's persona and personality change depending on how he feels on a given day. Why not bring in A List actors who fit the body type and let them all provide a different spin on the character. Let each actor do the Joker how they want. No need t try and follow Heath, Nicholas or anyone else. And Bring in Brock Lesnar to play Bane.
