You know the type, they don't engage in whatever behavior it is so they don't care about the freedom to choose that behavior. They don't smoke pot, so what would be the point of legalizing it. They don't gamble, so let's just keep the lottery (or what I like to call "the gasoline huffing of gambling"). The don't smoke cigarettes and they've never held a gun, so let's ban just them both. If we all got together and let each other have the particular freedoms they want, we would all be a lot happier (within reason, I'm not saying to let people smoke crack and have nuclear weapons). Think about it though, where does gay marriage rank on the scale of harm to others? It's not even as intrusive on your life as your neighbor's house not being fire-resistant. I am a Mormon. I have never once questioned my beliefs, but I sometimes can't help but question the people. I don't think this movie will shake my beliefs but it might make me distrust the people a little bit more. Is this movie full of lies? I'll just have to watch to find out.
